Shubh Sankasthi – Importance of the Day

Sankasthi Sri Vinayaka Pooja is a good day.This vratha is considered to be the most beautiful and is believed to help eliminate all the obstacles of life.On the fourth day of Poornima or the full moon, there is fast in the ceremony between morning and night, some want to go for partial fasting.

Since Ganesha is a very dear god, this puja is done in every house of the country.If you ask for a long time, the Sankasthi Chaturthi Puja starts in the evening, and after watching the moon all over the night.

Sankasthi Puja Morning

After the early morning, the ritual of prayer and mantras to pray through the mantra.Fasting begins after puja.The whole non-fast one takes fruit juice or Sabudani Khichdi.

Sankasthi Puja Evening

If in case the moon is not visible in the sky then you can do two things.

· End the fast by looking the moonrise time in your Calendar

· Draw Moon on a rice & perform Aarthi to that & end the fast.
